Walliston Primary School is a Western Australian Government school. As such the curriculum content for the school is determined by key publications such as the Curriculum Framework and the Australian CurriculumWalliston is working through the phases required for the full implementation of the Australian Curriculum.

Walliston Primary School also provides programs using specialist teachers in Italian (LOTE), Physical Education, Music and Instrumental Music (through the School of Instrumental Music).

In 2015 the school has set up an extension class with our Deputy Principal taking this group.  The class is a mixture of students from Years 1 – 6 that meet every Wednesday afternoon holding their lesson in Room 7.

Students may also access specialist programs such as PEAC, Primary Extension and Challenge, run at Kalamunda Primary School; others attend academic extension classes at Kalamunda High School.

Walliston Primary provides education for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

On completion of their primary education the majority of our students proceed into Lesmurdie Senior High School.
